Commander of Yemeni navy checks on crew of detained Israeli ship

HODEIDA, Nov. 22 (YPA) – The Commander of the Yemeni naval forces, Major General Muhammad Fadl Abdulnabi, on Wednesday inspected the crew of the Israeli-affiliated “Galaxy Leader” ship anchored in the Yemeni coast after its seizure by naval forces on Sunday.

The Navy’s commander said that “the ship’s crew are guests of Yemen”, noting that they would be treated according to the values of the true Islamic religion that urge good treatment of detainees, regardless of their nationalities or religions.

Major General Abdulnabi confirmed that the Yemeni naval forces would continue military operations against Israeli ships and interests until American-Zionist aggression against Gaza and its crimes against the Palestinian people cease.

He warned that naval operations would target Israeli-flagged ships, Israeli companies, or Israeli-owned vessels and urged all ships passing through the Red Sea not to sail near Israeli ships and not to disable identification devices.

The Navy’s commander also cautioned companies and merchants against shipping their goods or dealing with Israeli ships, stating that any military piece protecting Israeli ships would be a legitimate target for Yemeni naval forces.
