GAZA, Nov. 12 (YPA) – Al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of the Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas, claimed responsibility tonight for the shooting attack that took place on November 2 near the town of Beit Lid, east of Tulkarm.
The group confirmed that the attack left two Zionist soldiers dead. Al-Qasaam Brigades released a documentary video of the attack, refuting the enemy’s announcement that one soldier was killed.
According to the Palestinian Information Center, the video, broadcast by the military media of the Qassam Brigades, shows scenes of targeting of a private vehicle driven by an enemy soldier on the Tulkarm-Nablus road, and the driver was directly hit.
Al-Qassam Brigades also uncovered a subsequent operation in which the enemy forces were trapped into a tight ambush and detonated an explosive device, which the enemy has not yet disclosed.
According to the published documentation, the perpetrators of the Beit Lid operation burned a vehicle near the town of Bala’a, east of Tulkarm, with the aim of luring enemy forces to the place, and upon the arrival of an enemy patrol, explosive devices placed in advance next to the burning vehicle were detonated.
The footage showed 4-5 soldiers surrounding and inspecting the burning vehicle, before the explosive devices exploded and their bodies flew over long distances.
