Saudi authorities arrest Algerian pilgrim

RIYADH, Nov. 11 (YPA) – The Saudi authorities have arrested an Algerian pilgrim on charges of sympathizing with Gaza, while he was performing the Umrah pilgrimage and praying for the Palestinian people.

Activists on social media said on Saturday that pilgrim was arrested in a humiliating manner, during his visit to the Prophet’s Mosque, in Medina.

Saudi Arabia has continued to arrest any visitor who expresses sympathy with the persecution and massacres committed by the Israeli occupation forces against the Palestinians.
