Guterres: It’s too early to talk about sending peacekeepers to Gaza

WORLD, Nov. 09 (YPA) – United Nations Secretary-General António Guterres said it is too early to talk about bringing UN peacekeepers into the Gaza Strip.

Asked if he had discussed with “Israel” the possibility of deploying UN peacekeepers in the Gaza Strip, Guterres said: “This issue can only be decided by member states. This was not discussed. I think it’s too early to have any such discussions.”
