Israeli occupation continues arrests, attacks on Palestinians in West Bank

OCCUPIED PALESTINE, Nov. 08 (YPA) – The Israeli occupation forces arrested a number of Palestinians, while a number of others were shot, during raids they carried out in several areas in the occupied West Bank, on Wednesday morning, Palestinian News Agency said.

The Israeli occupation forces arrested a Palestinian after storming his house near Balata refugee camp, east of the city of Nablus, and had arrested his two brothers last Monday, while Palestinian media reported that the raids are still continuing and that the occupation is sending military reinforcements to more than one area in the occupied West Bank.

The Israeli occupation forces also stormed the city of Qalqilya from several directions, taking with them a number of bulldozers and vehicles, in addition to infantry teams, where soldiers raided the homes of a number of citizens, according to the Palestinian News Agency.

In Nablus, the Israeli occupation forces arrested the mother and wife of one of the prisoners after they “stormed the village of Tal, south of the city,” where confrontations broke out between young people and the Israeli forces, during which the Israeli army used live bullets, and no injuries were reported.

As for the city of Hebron, the Palestinian News Agency reported from eyewitnesses that the Israeli occupation forces opened fire on a young man near the school intersection in the city, wounding him with a bullet in his foot.

The Israeli occupation forces also arrested a number of citizens from the city of Hebron in the West Bank, coinciding with a military campaign carried out in the city of Jericho, where they surrounded a house in the Aqabat Jabr camp and demanded those inside surrender themselves via loudspeakers before engaging in clashes with Palestinian militants.

According to the Palestinian News Agency, Israeli military operations included Tuesday night and Wednesday dawn in the village of Beit Walid, located near the city of Tulkarm, where Israeli forces bulldozed the entrance to the village, which they blocked with an earthen berm six days ago.

Eyewitnesses said that the Israeli occupation forces searched and combed the lands and surroundings of facilities and homes in the area.

Israeli forces also stormed the town of Anata in East Quds, according to the Palestinian News Agency.
