Victims of Israeli aggression on Gaza rises to 9,488 martyrs: Palestine’s Health Ministry

GAZA, Nov. 04 (YPA) – Palestine’s Ministry of Health in Gaza announced that the number of martyrs in the Gaza Strip has risen to 9,488 martyrs, including 3,900 children, since October 7, 2023.

Spokesman for the Ministry of Health in Gaza, Ashraf Al-Qudra, confirmed that 70% of the victims of the Israeli aggression on Gaza are women and children, pointing out that the Ministry received 2,200 reports of missing persons, including 1,250 children who are still under the rubble.

He also reported that 150 medical personnel were martyred and 57 ambulances were destroyed, explaining that the occupation also deliberately targeted 105 health institutions and put 16 hospitals out of service.

Al-Qudra also noted that the Gaza’s hospitals are overcrowded with wounded people in critical and dangerous cases.

“The international community is facing a real test to review its positions regarding the massacres against our people and the targeting of hospitals,” he added. “We appeal to all parties to provide a safe passage for the flow of medical aid and fuel to hospitals and the exit of the wounded.”
