Yemeni riyal hits unprecedented decline against foreign currencies in Aden

SANAA, Oct. 28 (YPA) – The exchange markets in Aden province and the southern and eastern provinces, located under the control of the Saudi-led coalition, witnessed on Saturday an unprecedented collapse of the riyal against foreign currencies.

The exchange rate of the US dollar exceeded 1,520 Yemeni riyals, and the exchange rate of the Saudi riyal exceeded 400 riyals.

On the other hand, the Yemeni riyal exchange rate in areas under the control of the Sanaa government stabilized at 530 riyals to the dollar and 140.50 riyals to the Saudi riyal.
