Yemeni riyal drops significantly against foreign currencies in Aden

SANAA, Oct. 22 (YPA) – The Yemeni riyal’s exchange rate continued to decline dramatically, hitting a new low against foreign currencies in Aden and other Saudi-led coalition-controlled areas on Sunday.

In Aden, the US dollar exchange rate hit 1,478 Yemeni riyals, while the Saudi riyal reached 389.50 riyals.

On another hand, the Yemeni riyal exchange in areas under Sanaa government control recorded 529.5 riyals to the US dollar and 140.5 riyals to the Saudi riyal.
