SANAA, Oct. 21 (YPA) – The Yemeni Center for Human Rights called on the Ministry of Industry and Trade in Sanaa to close American companies and agencies that support the Zionist entity.
The Center stressed on Saturday in a statement the importance of taking such measures in light of the continuation of war crimes and genocide that the Zionist entity has been deliberately committing and continuing to commit in the Gaza Strip since October 8, 2023, which claimed the lives of more than 4,400 Palestinian people and 15,400 wounded, most of them women and children.
The center added that these war crimes are being committed by the Zionist occupation army, with declared and direct support from the American government, which supported Israel with approximately 1,000 tons of various weapons, in addition to political and financial support from American officials and companies.
As part of its efforts to stop crimes and support the Palestinian people, the Yemeni Center has urged the Ministry of Industry to take action against American companies and agencies that support the Zionist entity in Yemen, such as Coca-Cola, Starbucks, KFC, Baskin Robbins, and other companies in various fields, according to the statement.
The statement emphasized that allowing these companies to continue contributes to the support of the occupation, war crimes, and genocide against Palestinians, “like they support the crimes and violations of the American-Saudi-Emirati aggression coalition in Yemen for eight years.”
