Mass protests staged in several countries in support of Palestinian people

SANAA, Oct. 21 (YPA) – Mass protests were staged in several countries on Friday in solidarity with Palestine and to condemn the Israeli massacres against the people of the Gaza Strip amid the suffocating siege imposed on the strip.

On Friday, the capital Sanaa, and several Yemeni cities witnessed protests and vigils denouncing the crimes of the Zionist enemy against the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip and other occupied territories.

The participants raised the Palestinian flag and chanted slogans condemning the Zionist massacres against civilians in the Gaza Strip. They confirmed their support for the Palestinian people and the resistance to liberate Palestine and expel the Zionist entity from every inch of the country.

In Egypt, thousands of Egyptians staged a mass rally in Tahrir Square in downtown Cairo in support of the Palestinian people and in protest against the Israeli genocide campaign taking place right now in Gaza.

In the Qatari capital, Doha, Hundreds of people held at the Imam Muhammad bin AbdulWahhab Mosque, following Friday prayers, in solidarity with Gazans facing indiscriminate Israeli bombardment.

In Jordan, Thousands demonstrate in Amman, in protest of the genocide being carried out by Israel right now in Gaza.

In Iraq, Tens of thousands of Iraqis rally in downtown Baghdad in support of the Palestinian people and in protest of the Israeli genocide campaign in Gaza.

 

Lebanese people sailed in unity from the shores of Saida in the south, proclaiming their unwavering support for Palestine. Multiple protests also took place in the capital Beirut.

 

Meanwhile, Algeria amplified the outpouring of support through massive demonstrations, expressing solidarity with the Palestinian people.
