ADEN, Oct. 19 (YPA) – Hundreds of cars were damaged due to the spread of adulterated fuel in several fuel filling stations of Aden province, south of Yemen.
Local sources said on Wednesday the fuel sold by a number of oil stations in Aden had caused damage to the engines of citizens’ cars, noting that car repair shops were crowded as a result of being damaged by bad fuel, which caused problems with the fuel injectors and other parts related to engine operation.
Previously, many media outlets had circulated reports about the coalition-backed government pumping large quantities of fuel into the tanks of the Aden Refinery, despite the shipments being rejected by the refinery’s technical specialists.
