Two hospitals in Gaza stop services due to Israeli bombing

GAZA, Oct. 17 (YPA) – Two additional hospitals have stopped working in Gaza as a result of Israeli occupation aircraft bombing.

Spokesman Palestinian Health ministry announced that parts of the Gaza-European Hospital and the Emirati field hospital there were damaged by the Israeli army’s bombing of the entrance to the Gaza Hospital on Salah al-Din Road.

Ministry’s spokesman, Ashraf Al-Qudra, previously said that some departments and services at the Turkish Friendship Hospital had stopped working, which is the only specialized oncology hospital in Gaza, threatening the lives of hundreds of oncology patients.

The government media office indicated that “the coming hours will witness the forced cessation of more hospital and health facility services due to the exhaustion of fuel, medicines, and medical consumables.”

The Gaza Strip has been subjected to Israeli land, sea and air bombardment since the Hamas movement and other Palestinian factions launched Operation “Al-Aqsa Flood” October 7, 2023.

The Israeli enemy has launched since an air attacks on the residential areas of Gaza Strip, which is inhabited by more than two million Palestinians who suffer from deteriorating living conditions.
