3.5 magnitude shock hits Yemeni province

DHAMAR, Oct. 16 (YPA) – The Center for Monitoring and Study of Earthquakes and Volcanoes recorded a mild seismic tremor with a magnitude of 3.5 after midnight on Sunday in Dhamar province.

The earthquake occurred about 26 kilometers away from the city of Dhamar to the west, and it was felt by the people of the city of Dhoran Anes and the surrounding areas.

Engineer Muhammad Hussein Al-Houthi, head of the center in Dhamar, indicated that this light tremor and others are normal, and the areas that feel it are not affected due to the distance of the earthquake’s epicenter from the surface of the Earth.
