MUSCAT, Oct. 16 (YPA) – The Omani Foreign Minister, Badr al-Busaidi, confirmed on Monday the Sultanate of Oman’s keenness to achieve lasting peace in Yemen through diplomatic efforts to establish a roadmap to end the nine-year conflict.

Al-Busaidi said in an interview with “Al-Arabiya” TV channel that there is a seriousness that the Sultanate has felt from all parties to reach a solution.

He pointed out that his country is in constant contact with international and regional actors in order to achieve this lofty goal.

But at the same time, he pointed out that there are challenges in this file, which are “how to agree on commonalities and common rules to move forward towards drawing the road map for Yemen,” as he put it.
