WORLD, Oct. 15 (YPA) – An earthquake with a magnitude of 6.4 on the Richter Scale struck western Afghanistan, The Euro-Mediterranean Seismological Center (EMSC) reported on Sunday.
According to seismologists, the quake struck 32 kilometers northwest of Herat, home to 272,000 people.
On October 7, a strong earthquake occurred near the city of Herat, with a magnitude of 6.3 on the Richter scale.
According to recent data, the quake killed 2,500 people and displaced tens of thousands.
