OCCUPIED PALESTINE, Oct. 10 (YPA) – The Israeli occupation army has threatened Palestinian residents of the Gaza Strip, asking them to flee to Egypt, The Hebrew Ynetnet website reported, citing the occupation army spokesman.

The army spokesperson said in a statement: “The Israeli army is offering the Palestinian residents of the Gaza Strip fleeing army airstrikes to head to Egypt.”

“I am aware that the Rafah crossing (on the Gaza-Egypt border) is still open. Anyone who can get out, I would advise them to get out,” said the spokesperson during a briefing.

Today, he announced that Israeli forces had taken full control of the border fence in the Gaza Strip.

“The army forces are working to fill the gaps in the fence. The army estimates that there are more militants hiding.”
