Palestinian Ministry of Health: At least 256 killed, including 20 children, in Israeli airstrikes in Gaza
GAZA, Oct. 08 (YPA) – The Palestinian Ministry of Health announced that 256 Palestinians including 20 children, have been killed, and 1,800 people injured since the start of the Israeli bombing of the Gaza Strip on Saturday morning.
This comes after Hamas announced the start of Operation “Al-Aqsa Flood” and the launching of over 5,000 rockets from the Gaza Strip toward the Israeli interior in the first half hour of the operation.
It is noteworthy that the Israeli occupation forces launched dozens of airstrikes on the Gaza Strip, killing civilians, in addition to destroying residential towers and infrastructure in most areas of the Strip.
The commander-in-chief of the Qassam Brigades, the military wing of Hamas, Mohammed Deif, announced on Saturday the start of Operation “Al-Aqsa Flood” against the Zionist enemy.
Abu Hamza, spokesman for the Al-Quds Brigades, confirmed that they are on the side of the Qassam Brigades in the battle of “Al-Aqsa Flood.”
Abu Hamza announced that the Al-Quds Brigades had captured a large number of Zionist soldiers.
