Angry protests for farmers denounce seizure of their lands

LAHJ, Oct. 05 (YPA) – Lahj province witnessed on Thursday angry protests carried out by dozens of farmers condemning the seizure and arrest of their private lands.

Local sources said that dozens of farmers in Al-Hajriya area of Tur Al-Baha district, carried out a protest rally to denounce a judicial ruling ordering the seizure and arrest of their private lands.

They alsi called on the Supreme Judicial Council to quickly suspend the sentence and quickly decide on the issue of the arrested lands, accusing the judicial authorities of supporting the implementers in plundering their own lands.
