Police arrest theft gang in Amran

AMRAN, Oct. 04 (YPA) – Police arrested on Thuesday a gang accused of stealing citizens’ property in Amran province.

The province’s criminal investigation department in the province stated that the gang, including seven members, managed to steal 13 rifles from farmer of the districts of Bani Surim, Houth, and Harf Sufyan, as well sums of money, phones, and personality cards from citizens.

The department indicated that the total value of the stolen items estimated at 10 million riyals.
