UAE reveals Saudi-funded forces’ tasks in southern Yemen

ADEN, Oct. 02 (YPA) – The UAE forces revealed the main mission of the Saudi-funded factions, of the so-called Dare al-Watan forces, located in the southern provinces.

Head of the UAE Center for Political Studies, Dr. Khaled Al-Shamiri, confirmed that “the presence of training camps for Dare al-Watan factions inside Saudi territory by American trainers denies any statements claiming that these forces’ loyalty is to the “south.”

Al-Shamiri indicated in post on “X” platform that these forces established for the sole purpose of “supporting the Kingdom’s agendas” in southern Yemen, and confronting any forces that try to conflict with Saudi Arabia’s goals and agendas.

On Sunday, the Yemeni Press Agency obtained special information confirming that Saudi Arabia had brought in a number of American officers to train the Dare al-Watan forces that Saudi Arabia had established from extremist Salafist groups in Sharurah area of Najran on the border with Yemen.
