Al-Houthi demands probe into Yemeni Airlines’ expenses
SANAA, Oct. 01 (YPA) – Member of the Supreme Political Council in Sanaa, Mohammed Ali Al-Houthi, called on “Yemenia” Airlines to review its commitment and purchase private aircraft for the Republic of Yemen instead of pledging them to the Saudi partner.
In a post on “X” platform, Al-Houthi wondered about the money spent by the Yemeni company, amounting to “304” million Saudi riyals, and where it went, even though Sanaa had provided expenses and salaries monthly.
He called on the Supreme National Authority for Combating Corruption (SNACC) and the competent authorities to open the file to reach the truth and protect the people’s rights from blackmail, tampering, and corruption.
