One killed, 13 others injured at wedding ceremony in Taiz

TAIZ, Sept. 30 (YPA) – A citizen was killed and 13 others were injured on Saturday at a wedding ceremony in the center of the city of Taiz, southern Yemen.

Activists on social media said that violent clashes broke out at a wedding in al-Bia’rara area in the center of the city, which resulted in killing one person and injuring 13 other guests.

Activists explained that the reason for the clashes occurred due to a dispute over singing and dancing.

It is worth mentioning that this tragedy comes in the context of the security collapse witnessed by the areas under armed factions in the city of Taiz.
