ABU DHABI, Sept. 30 (YPA) – About $2.5 million was paid to organize a wedding ceremony of the son of Tariq Saleh, a coalition-backed military commander,in Abu Dhabi city.
Media sources revealed that the costs of the ceremony were including airline tickets for hundreds of guests transported from 3 countries, in addition to accommodation expenses in one of the largest hotels in the city.
The sources said that Tariq Saleh, the nephew of the former president Ali Abdullah Selah, invited 700 people from Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Aden and Mocha city of Taiz to attend the wedding of his son, AfashTariq, in Abu Dhabi.
The sources added that that depicting Afash alongside 500 grooms in the wedding ceremony, which was held in the city of Mocha, was aimed to appear Tariq as a humble official, especially the ceremony ended with the newlyweds joining a new brigade in his Emirati-funded forces.
