Iran, Saudi Arabia discuss visa abolition between two countries

WORLD, Sept. 29 (YPA) – Maryam Jalali Dehkordi, the Iranian deputy tourism minister, announced the continuation of Iranian and Saudi efforts to develop tourism relations and cancel visas between the two countries.

Maryam Jalali Dahkardi, who is currently in the Saudi capital Riyadh to participate in World Tourism Day, added that she and Deputy Minister of Tourism for International Relations and Foreign Tourism, Sultan Al-Musallam have exchanged views on possible ways remove obstacles to the development of tourism relations between the two countries.”

She invited the Saudi tourism minister to visit Iran.

World Tourism Day was held in Riyadh, where more than 500 officials and experts from 120 countries gathered at the event.

Last March, Iran and Saudi Arabia agreed to restore diplomatic ties seven years after severing relations.
