STC revives new campaign to raise secession flags in Hadramout

HADRMOUT, Sept. 27 (YPA) – Dozens of supporters of the UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council on Wednesday revived a new campaign to raise secession flags in the Islah Party-controlled areas in Hadramout province.

The Youth of Anger Bloc, the most prominent STC arm in the Oil Plateau, announced the start of raising southern flags on all facilities and in the city of Seiyun and its affiliated districts.

This came to coincide with the arrival of a presidential delegation from the STC to the city as part of its arrangements to announce “fateful decisions” announced by the STC’s head Aidarous Al-Zubaidi from the United States.

The move would bring tension back to the forefront, especially it comes at a time when the province is preparing to secede with Saudi support.
