Meteorology expects active to strong winds around Socotra Archipelago

SANAA, Sept. 27 (YPA) – The National Center of Meteorology expected on Wednesday active to strong winds around the Socotra Archipelago, ranging its speed from 15 to 28 knots.

In its weather forecast, the center affirmed that moderate winds also hit the southern coasts, the Gulf of Aden, and the entrance to Bab al-Mandab, with speeds ranging between 10 and 20 knots.

It also expected rain of varying intensity, accompanied by thunderstorms, in parts of the provinces of Hajjah, Mahweet, Hodeida, Rayma, Ibb, Taiz, Lahj, Dhalea, Abyan, Shabwa, Hadramaut, Bayda, Amran, Dhamar, and Socotra.
