Sayyed Abdul-Malik speaks on priorities for radical change

SANAA, Sept. 27 (YPA) -The Leader of the Yemeni Revolution, Sayyed Abdul-Malik Badr Al-Din Al-Houthi, has expressed his hope that the occasion of the Prophet’s birthday would help to reform reality in the state institutions of Yemen.

“We are on a date tomorrow to talk about the first phase of radical change, which was a necessary from the beginning,” Sayyed Abdul-Malik al-Houthi said during his speech this evening on the eve of the Prophet’s birthday.

He added: “The issue of radical change is not a matter of developments or a new necessity, as the defect is old and the citizens have been calling for it for a long time.”

The Sayyed pointed out that “the imbalance is due to its deep roots. And, there are many negative systems, laws, regulations and concepts entrenched in the official performance of state institutions.”

“The absence of the standard of efficiency is one of the most important causes of problems in all state institutions, as neither the constitution requires this nor any law,” he explained

He continued: “The situation in state institutions should not continue as it is, because there are deep imbalances in systems, laws, procedures and everything.”

Sayyed Abdul-Malik al-Houthi affirmed that “within the framework of change, there will be attention to priorities, including ending the aggression, siege and occupation by all legitimate means.”

“If the negotiations do not succeed, our people have the right to end the aggression, siege and occupation by all legitimate means,” he emphasised.

Sayyed Abdul-Malik Al-Houthi pointed out that the restoration of national cohesion and full independence are among the priorities of radical change.

He added: “The economic situation and living concerns will remain among the priorities, as well as improving the country to become a productive country in all aspects. The Leader also said he would announce the first phase of the new radical change tomorrow.
