Head of Sanaa delegation reveals results of Riyadh negotiations

SANAA, Sept. 20 (YPA) – The head of the Sanaa negotiating delegation, Mohammad Abdulsalam, has revealed the results of the negotiations that took place during the past days with the Saudi side in Riyadh.

Abdulsalam stated that extensive meetings were held with the Saudi side in Riyadh thanks to efforts made by the Omani mediation delegation to support peace and end the humanitarian crisis in Yemen.

“We discussed some options and alternatives to overcome the issues of disagreement that occurred in the previous negotiation round,” Abdulsalam said.

He pointed out that the delegation will submit the results to the leadership in Sanaa for consultation in a way that helps accelerate addressing the humanitarian crisis in Yemen, including the salaries issue, and lead to a just, comprehensive, and sustainable solution.

The Sanaa delegation, headed by Abdulsalam, had returned to Sanaa on Tuesday evening, accompanied by the Omani mediator, after a five-day negotiation round with the Saudi side in Riyadh.
