Al-Assad states peace negotiations with Riyadh proceed positively

SANAA, Sept. 18 (YPA) – Member of the political bureau of Ansarullah, Hizam al-Assad, revealed the Omani-mediated peace negotiations proceeding with Saudi Arabia are in a positive atmosphere.

In a news statement to the Russian “Sputnik” agency, Al-Assad confirmed that the peace talks between Saudi Arabia and the Yemeni delegation would be the last rounds to be held in Riyadh.

“The talks are taking place completely away from any role of the United Nations, whose role, unfortunately, has remained negative and fueling the war throughout the eight years of war and siege on Yemen,” he added.
