New fuel crisis hits Mahra, Hadramout

HADRAMOUT, Sept. 16 (YPA) – Mahra and Hadramout governorates in southern Yemen witnessed on Saturday a stifling crisis of oil derivatives, bringing the price of one liter of gasoline to fictional levels.

Local sources reported that the oil derivatives crisis suddenly occurred during the early hours of Saturday, lining up the cars of citizens with long queues in front of fuel stations, indicating that the price of a liter of benzene reached 1,500 riyals.

The cruise crisis coincided with the rise in the price of the dollar to more than 1,450 riyals and the Saudi riyal price of approximately 400 Yemeni riyals.
