UAE ends service of first military brigade in Aden

ADEN, Sept. 14 (YPA) – The UAE ended the service of the first military brigade affiliated with the Southern Transitional Council (STC) in the city of Aden, southern Yemen.

The UAE ousted 11 commanders from the leadership of the First Support Brigade, including the companions of the commander of Major General Munir Al-Subaihi “Abu Al-Yamamah”, the armament staff of the brigade Major General Wadah Abdullah Tamah, the war staff of the brigade Major General Dayan Atef Al-Shabhi, the deputy chief of operations of the brigade Major General Ja’em Saleh Al-Musafri, and others.

The brigade’s leaders were referred to remain in their homes after preventing financial support and food from the brigade’s members and demobilizing hundreds of them under the name of “restructuring,” which is being carried out by the STC “Dhalea Wing.”

The UAE dismantled the “Support and Assistance Brigade” due to the conflict between the wings of the faction leaders in “Yafea and Dhalea,” with the latter seeking full control over the leadership of the factions loyal to the UAE.
