Scattered rains expected to fall on various parts of Yemen
SANAA, Sept. 13 (YPA) – The scattered rains will be expected to prevail over the different areas of Yemen provinces during the coming 24 hours.
According to the National Center of Meteorology on Wednesday, the light rains may fall over parts of Aden, Lahj, Dhalea, Ibb, Rayma, Sanaa, Dhamar, Mahweet, Saada, Amran, and Hajjah, as well as Shabwa and Hadramout.
The center said that maximum temperatures ranging between 04-44 degrees Celsius may target the desert areas, while weather will be hot and humid in the coastal areas, plains and the Socotra archipelago, with temperatures reaching between 30-41 degrees.
It indicated to the possibility of active to strong winds around the Socotra Archipelago, the southern coasts, and the Gulf of Aden, ranging its speeds between 20 and 40 knots, and moderate to active winds on the eastern coasts, the entrance to Bab al-Mandab, and the southern parts of the western coast, reaching its speeds between 15-15 knots.
It warned citizens against being in the stomachs of valleys, torrential passages, during the rains, as well as a decrease in the horizontal visibility due to fog or low clouds.
