ADEN, Sept. 09 (YPA) – A Graduation of the UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council (STC)’s leaders’ sons from an Emirati military college has sparked outrage in Yemen’s southern and eastern governorates.
Social media Activists from the southern governorates posted during the past hours pictures of a number of young sons of STC leaders who were said to have graduated from the Zayed Military College in Abu Dhabi, most of whom are sons of the STC’s leaders who live with their families there.
They explained that 88 graduates from Zayed Military College, including 85 graduates from Dhalea region, while the three others are from Hadramout, Shabwa and Abyan. Socotra and the rest of the southern governorates were not included due to regional reasons.
According to the Southern activist Ali al-Nassi, four brothers, “Nasser, Ali, Hammoud, Fattah,” Muthanna Ali Al-Muraisy, are among the graduates.”
“We congratulate Hajj Muthanna Al-Muraisy in particular and the sons of Maris on the graduation of their four sons from the college,” he said, considering it a “wonderful step to build the southern army.”.
It is worth mentioning that the UAE is leading a project to tear apart the territorial integrity of the Republic of Yemen by supporting and financing the STC with money and weapons, the latest of which was the graduation of a batch from the Zayed Military College without the logo of the Republic of Yemen.
