ADEN, Aug 30 (YPA) – Former Minister of Transport Saleh al-Jabwani revealed reasons for the UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council (STC) ‘s support for Moeen Abdul-Malik, prime minter of the government loyal to the Saudi-led coalition
“The STC will stand by Moeen Abdul Malik as long as the telecommunications deal was signed for the benefit of the UAE,” Al-Jabwani said, adding “ “It may be that Moeen singed the deal due to the pressure of the STC and they host him in (the south) as they say.”
He continued: “The first evidence of the role of the STC is that its ministers have stood firmly with the signing of the deal.”
“Moeen, whose government citizens demonstrated in Aden against it, the STC forces came out to suppress them,” he said.
He pointed out that Moeen Abdual-Malik is just a docile tool that implements what is asked of him and the STC is guard dog, so dealing with the guard dog is a must to start with , but the tools come with a decision and leave with a decision.
