Al-Burhan heads to Egypt to meet el-Sisi

WORLD, Aug 29 (YPA) – Chairman of Sudan’s Sovereignty Council Abdel Fattah al-Burhan, traveled to Egypt on Tuesday, to hold talks with President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi on developments in Sudan and bilateral relations.

They will also discuss ways to strengthen, support and develop relations between the two countries to serve the two peoples and issues of common interest.

Al-Burhan will be accompanied during the visit by Foreign Minister-designate Ambassador Ali al-Sadiq, Director of the General Intelligence Service General Ahmed Ibrahim Mufaddal, and General Mirghani Idris Suleiman, Director General of the Defense Industries System.

This is al- Burhan’s first outside his country since the outbreak of clashes with the Rapid Support Forces led by Mohamed Hamdan Dagalo, on April 15.
