IOM grants Yemen’s health ministry 5 ambulances to cope with Hodeidah crisis
SANAA, July 5 (YPA) — The International Organization for Migration (IOM) on Thursday delivered five ambulances as a grant to cope with humanitarian crisis in the Red Sea port city of Hodeidah, state Saba news agency reported.
The delivery took place in the headquarters of the health ministry here in the capital Sanaa.
The ministry said the ambulances will be used in humanitarian and health work in the remote villages and districts of Hodeidah province.
Humanitarian situations in Hodeidah have deteriorated since the US-backed Saudi-led aggression coalition forces began a major military assault on Hodeidah on June 13.
