Sanaa seeks to establish cooperative relationship with BRICS group

SANAA, Aug. 22 (YPA) – The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Sanaa Government, Hisham Sharaf, sent on Tuesday a written message to the Minister of International Relations and Cooperation of the Republic of South Africa, Naledi Pandor.

In the letter, Shara congratulated Pandor on the occasion of her country’s presidency of the 15th session of the BRICS summit, which was held from August 22–24, 2023.

The Foreign Minister expressed his wishes for the success of the summit’s work, as that is beneficial to the international public interest in the multiplicity of international poles that would contribute significantly to achieving the goals of sustainable development and the growth of the world’s countries, especially developing countries.

He pointed out that the Republic of Yemen is closely following the important developments that accompanied the work of the BRICS group during the past years, expressing the hope that there will be cooperation between the Republic of Yemen and the BRICS group in the post-war period.
