Iraqi boxer punches Quran burner in Sweden

WORLD, Aug 22 (YPA) – Activists on social media platforms posted a video footage showing a boxer who they said was an Iraqi punching Silwan Momika, who had burned a copy of the Quran.

The video footage  went viral on social media.

Momika was attacked in the city of Södertälje, south of Stockholm, by a man wearing boxing gloves. The incident was filmed and shared on social media platforms.

In July, Momika, who lives in Sweden, burned a copy of the Quran in front of Stockholm’s main mosque.

A few days later, he burned another copy of the Holy Quran and the Iraqi flag in front of the Iraqi embassy in Stockholm.
