ADEN, Feb. 5 (YPA) – The Saudi-led coalition on Monday held deputy of the Yemen’s southern transitional council Hani Ben Brik, and commander of the so-called 4th Presidential protection Brigade Mahran Al-Qoubati, responsible for Aden last bloody events.
A report issued by the commission tasked by the coalition to investigate into the events, a copy of which obtained by Yemen Press Agency, accused Ben Brik and Al-Qoubati of provoking strife that led to a sedition between the rival parties.
However, the accusation ignored the real role played by several supreme military leaders as General Ali Mohsen al-Ahmar, and head of Saudi-backed cabinet Ben Dagher.
On Jan. 30 the Southern separatists backed by United Arab Emirates took control of the port city of Aden, two days after the deadly clashed that eventually ended with the defeat of the forces loyal to Saudi-based resigned president Hadi.
