ADEN, Aug 20 (YPA) -Armed clashes erupted on Saturday between two factions affiliated with the UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council (STC)’s militia in Yemen’s southern port city of Aden, local media reported.
According to media sources, the clashes took place in Crater district, near the Central Bank of Aden’s building.
The road was closed and electricity was cut off as a result.
The two factions used light weapons in the clashes.
According to the sources, the clashes resulted in the injury of one of the recruits and one of the guards of the Aden Central Bank.
Aden has been witnessing a state of great lawlessness, murders, assassinations and kidnappings, due to conflicts between the Saudi-led coalitions’ factions.
