Citizen viciously beaten, stabbed by armed gang in Dhalea

DHALEA, Aug 18 (YPA) – A citizen has been viciously beaten and stabbed by an armed gang in Dhalea governorate, southern Yemen, local sources reported on Thursday.

According to local sources, the gang intercepted and stopped Mohammed Al-Saeedi while on his way to his residence in Qataba district, and savagely attacked him.

Al-Sadeedi is a worker from the province of Raymah. He works in the sale of chickens in the Qataba district, where he has been working for years.

The sources added that Al-Saeedi was transferred to Aden governorate for treatment and his health condition is so critical.  He suffers brain bleed and doctors decided to amputate his foot and keep him in intensive care.

The sources pointed out that the UAE-backed militia controlling the province did not lift a finger about the crime committed against an unarmed civilian, as well as the security of the directorate, which turned a blind eye to the crime and did not pursue the aggressors.
