Israeli drone shot down in Gaza

GAZA, Aug. 14 (YPA) – The Palestinian factions shot down on Monday an “Orbiter” drone belonging to the Israeli occupation army in Al-Zaytoun neighborhood, east of the Gaza Strip.

The airspace of the Gaza Strip is witnessing an intense flight of several types of drones belonging to the occupation army for the purpose of espionage and monitoring information.

Media outlets reported that the operation took place at the “Beit Hanoun/Erez Crossing” checkpoint adjacent to the Gaza Strip, where the drones were hidden in a black bag inside a minibus and discovered by a sniffer dog during an inspection of the car.

According to the occupation forces, it is possible that the devices are intended for armed groups operating in the Gaza Strip.
