WORLD, Aug 14 (YPA) – A series of fires reportedly broke out in the Ukrainian city of Odesa last night after several of explosions rocked the city, Mayor of Odesa, Gennadiy Trukhanov said.
Trukhanov wrote on his Facebook page: “Several fires broke out…”
On Sunday evening, Ukrainian media reported series of explosions in the city of Odesa.
Local authorities confirmed the information. Fragments of missiles dropped using the Ukrainian air defense system fell on a shopping mall and destroyed it completely.
A residential building belonging to a local educational institution was also damaged, according to the same source. Air alert announced overnight in several Ukrainian regions.
Russian forces began carrying out strikes on Ukrainian infrastructure on October 10, 2022, two days after the Ukrainian terrorist attack on the Crimean Bridge. Strikes were launched on energy facilities, defense industry, military command and communications across the country.
