Bodyguards injured in Aden armed attack

ADEN, Aug 03 (YPA) – About four bodyguards were wounded on Thursday in an armed attack that targeted a security car in Aden city, south of Yemen.

Local sources in the city stated that gunmen targeted the car of Bashir Abdul-Malik Mohammed Abdullah, Director General of the Office of Industry and Trade in Aden, with a grenade in the city of Al-Saleh of Al-Buraiqa area.

The wounded were transported to one of hospitals in the city, they said.

The sources added that the explosion caused a state of panic and terror among passers-by and the residents close to the accident.

This came after a gunman detonated a grenade amid a gathering of his friends in Al-Buraiqa, leaving 8 injured.
