Al-Houthi comments Saudi statement to support economy in Yemen’s south

SANAA, Aug 01 (YPA) – Member of the Supreme Political Council, Mohammed Al-Houthi, commented on Saudi Arabia’s announcement to support the economy in the Yemen’s southern areas with an amount of $1.2 billion.

“This announcement comes to absorb anger as a result of the deterioration of the Yemeni riyal and the increase in yields in the occupied areas,” Al-Houthi said on Twitter on Tuesday.

Al-Houthi referred to Saudi Arabia has declared more times a deposits to support the economy in the southern of Yemen.

“These deposits were found and did not improve the economy,” he added. “The solution is the departure of the occupier and the survival of Yemen as the deposit of its people.”
