UAE officer strips Tariq Saleh of personal weapon

TAIZ, July. 26 (YPA) – UAE-backed Tariq Saleh, the nephew of the former president Ali Abdullah Saleh, was stripped off his personal weapon by one of the Emirati leaders in the western coast of Yemen.

“When Tariq Saleh meets the Emiratis, he is being stripped of his personal weapon, and they do not allow him to enter, even with white weapons,” Saleh Munser Al-Yafei, one of southern journalist, said on Twitter.

He pointed out that Tariq Saleh and the Southern Transitional Council (STC) loyal to the UAE are being treated with contempt and as mercenaries.

The journalist Al-Yafei, attached a picture showing the truth of his words, in which Tariq Saleh appeared disarmed in a humiliating style, while the Emirati leader and his companions were armed with various weapons on the western coast.
