Al-Amaliqa Forces: Taiz security did not arrest Ahmed Al-Surra and Zakaria Al-Sharjabi

TAIZ, July 23 (YPA) – The UAE-backed “Al-Amaliqa” forces, revealed on Saturday the failure of the security forces and Taiz military axis to arrest key suspects in the assassination of the director of the World Food Program office in Taiz province.

Al-Amaliqa refuted the security authority’s statement about what it called the security success represented in the arrest of Zakaria Al-Sharjabi and Ahmed Youssef Al-Surra.

“Taiz security failed to arrest the first suspect in the crime, Zakaria al-Sharjabi, who appeared in the videos shooting the victim from a motorcycle,” Al-Amaliqa said in a statement.

Al-Amaliqa militants affirmed that their forces arrested the suspect Ahmed Youssef al-Surra and not as claimed by the Islah media and attributed the arrest to Taiz security.

Al-Amaliqa denounced the Islah Party’s media campaigns, which attribute the security victory to themselves, at a time when the city of Taiz is drowning in terrorism and daily crimes
