Deterioration of public services ignites angry protests in Lahj

LAHJ, July. 17 (YPA) – Angry protests were erupted on Monday in the district of Tuban of Lahj province, south of Yemen, to denounce the power outages, the deterioration of public services and the high prices.

Local sources said that the protesters blocked the main road linking between the provinces of Lahj and Aden, calling on the coalition to leave.

The participants accused the coalition and its allied government of standing behind the economic collapse in the south of Yemen.
