Woman killed, man injured due to Saudi-backed forces’ shelling in Taiz

TAIZ, Sept. 22 (YPA) – A woman was killed and a man was injured on Tuesday after a mortar shell fired by Saudi-backed forces struck the Al-Harir neighborhood in the Salah district of Taiz governorate, according to local report.

In a separate incident earlier, the Ministry of Health in Sanaa announced that a mother and her child were killed, while her husband and two other children sustained injuries as a result of airstrikes carried out by Saudi warplanes on the Al-Batin area in the Al-Hazm district in Jaw governorate.

Additionally, airstrikes targeted the Mocha district in Taiz, leaving 12 civilians dead and injured.
