Supreme Economic Committee: Deterioration of economic situation in southern provinces is a result of coalition
SANAA, July 17 (YPA) – The Supreme Economic Committee in Sanaa on Sunday confirmed that the deterioration of the economic and living situation in occupied regions is a result of what Saudi-led coalition has been doing for more than eight years.
The committee indicated in a statement that the deterioration and collapse of the national currency is the result of planned action by coalition.
The statement noted that the coalition is still plundering the revenues of sovereign wealth and refusing to use it to alleviate the suffering of the people of Yemen.
The deterioration and collapse of the national currency was not born of the moment, but rather the result of deliberate and planned action, since the transfer of Yemen Central Bank nearly 7 years ago, cutting the salaries of state employees, supplying revenues of sovereign wealth to the banks of the countries of aggression, transferring them to accounts of mercenaries abroad and using them to finance the war on the Yemeni people, the statement read.
The statement held the coalition responsible for the suffering of the Yemeni people since the start of the aggression, siege and economic war on Yemen.
